Our clinicians are empowered to do their best work.

With our legacy of delivering high-quality comprehensive health assessments, we know what it takes for our clinicians to deliver the highest quality care. It starts with empowering them to spend as much time as they need to truly understand and assess each patient as a whole person. Our clinicians spend 45-60 minutes with every patient they visit.

Our technology platform supports our clinicians in building trusted relationships, through more personalized, in-depth and meaningful conversations about each person’s conditions and challenges. And, backed by a responsive support team, our clinicians act as a bridge between care teams, insurers and support resources, advocating for people on their journey towards better health.

Whether you join our network as an experienced nurse practitioner or a new graduate each member of our network receives robust training, onboarding and support as well as advanced certification opportunities. Our clinical leaders are available to provide assistance to our field providers with a goal to deliver unsurpassed clinical quality and results for our clients and their members.

Our clinicians aren’t bound by the constraints of a 15-minute office visit that doesn’t allow them to perform a complete assessment of the patient in front of them. Because they spend as much time as needed to make sure they understand each patient and their unique circumstances, they are able to uncover discrepancies between care plans and lifestyle choices.

Safety is a top priority and we are proud to report a 62% lower safety case incident rate than the national average.

At Matrix we care about our clinicians as much as they care for their patients. Over the years we’ve acquired deep experience in managing the logistics and coordination that allows our clinicians to be as efficient as they can be, and why we continuously invest in our Lone Worker Safety Program which includes: 

  • Prompt investigation of reported incidents
  • Lone Worker Safety App available on your work device and a personal device at no charge to you, with SOS feature, predator overlay, companion mode, check in/check out features
  • Submission of workman’s compensation claims, if necessary, and follow up communications
  • Regular safety communications with tips for specific risks (dog bites, weather, travel related issues) based on trends and provider feedback
